    Hey,

Sorry this is more of a ask for help here. I purchased this gorgeous vintage black cat ornament. I'm not too sure what it's made out of, it feels like pottery, but wouldn't want to bet on it. It's very heavy, it's been glazed. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about what it's called and its history? It's got the initials which look like BA on the bottom but I can't be sure. Would love to know about this gorgeous charm.

    Thanks in advance! :)

It's glazed terracotta. I think this is a piece of studio pottery made by an ordinary individual. There is no way to know it's history. I don't think it's vintage, either. Vintage items are normally something that's 50 years old or more.
