1960's Boeing 707 tin plane made by LineMar Toys Japan. She is a beauty! No nicks, very little in the way of scratches or play. The plane is about 17" length-wise and 18" wing tip to wing tip.

I remember my plane as a kid. I'd throw it across the room with little figures inside (the side opened up to 'seat' passengers.)
I had wanted to be a pilot for a little while.
Then, the Post Office we went to gave kids Styrofoam planes to put together. They really flew, too!
Later I got a real flying remote-controlled plane, but it died when the wind took it too hard and sent it into a tree. It fell down from there into traffic....
Very nice plane.
Thanks SpiritBear. I too had planes as a kid that weren't meant to fly but tried to make them fly with disastrous results for the planes. I am looking at a Constellation aircraft at the moment and pondering......do I really need it? Your interests on this site are very cool and it is fascinating seeing the things that "float" people's boats and makes them happy collecting and sharing.
Sometimes the posts, like yours, bring back memories. I'd forgotten all about these toys of mine when I was younger.
The toys were cool but they took a beating......if I took a metal detector to my backyard....I could probably find a few of them though well well past their prime.
As a digger of long-forgotten household dumps, I can verify that. LOL.
I never seem to find more than marbles in one piece, and a toy truck once.
love this !!!
