This is a rather larger vase with the longest tadpoles I've ever seen :). Picture 4 shows it with two similarly 'tadpoled' vases but does not mean that I think they come from the same maker. Incidentally the tadpoles on the vase to the right (picture 4) may look darker simply because they remain attached to the vase at all points. All the applied decoration is cobalt.
Height 17.6 cm./7 inches Diameter 11.5 cm./4.5 inches
Those sure are some tadpoles and look at how they form the handles ! ...beautiful :)
Thanks, mikelv, and must have needed a fair amount of skill too :)
An amazing colour and clever handles !
Thanks, Ivonne, and one of the tadpoles is much longer than the other, incidentally.
Oh Peggy you got my intentions on this one...;-), lovely.
I found one with the oval mark yesterday at the salvation, not much time to posted yet, maybe tonight, I will love have your opinion on this one.
Regards
Alan
Hi, Alan, you are so lucky to find marked Czech glass. Thank you for commenting :) Just so you know, identifying Tango glass is notoriously difficult!
Thank you for the loves, aura, mikelv, Ivonne, VioletOrange, welzebub, AmatoorPikr, philmac, Michelle, AnnaB, Alan, nutsabotas, blunderbuss and vetraio.
The handles make the piece Peggy! Beautiful!
You are so right, Rick, thanks.
Many thanks to all who took time to 'love' this vase.
