This is a very unusual necklace. It might have been home-made of leftover or broken necklaces. The necklace has three strands: A short one, made of round beads, a medium one, made of pretty green, translucent, barrel shaped beads with small glass spacers, and finally, a large strand of wooden beads. To me, it seems that these three strands don't really match. I am planning to take it apart: I will make two necklaces out of the plastic beads and use some vintage clasp for it, and I will dispose of the wooden beads because I don't like them at all.
I tested the plastic beads and there was a hint of yellow on the tissue but because I am as good as out of the solution, I can not be sure. I will have to buy a new bottle and re-test the beads.
Thanks for looking:)
Always great to have a project with nice beads!
Sure Mary will agree!
Thanks, kyratango. I used to make a lot of jewelry when my girls were little. The loved to help, design, and make their own. I still have some of the pieces they made for me, and although I wouldn't wear them, they are very special to me. Nowadays it's hard for me to find the time:(
