I have had this Asian tea pot for many years and I don't remember where it came from but l am hoping some-one will know more about this lovely tea pot. I can't find any identifying marks or signatures and unsure if the lid is original to this teapot.

I think Japanese and hand painted but will need someone else's ideas on which style or region.
Are there any marks on the bottom? If so can you replace one of your photos with a base shot?

Thanks for the base shot. I'm not very educated on Japanese ceramics so it hasn't helped me....I hope someone else can help you!
