      Hi Welcome to CW :-)
Your brooch has nothing to do with Native American!
It is Egyptian revival, 1920 era, gilded silver and plique a jour enamel.
Usually German made in Pforzheim, can you see any marks on the back?

Scarab brooch. Definitely Egyptian Revival, as kyra said. I see a stamp on the back - is the number 800? That would tie in with kyra's German connection.

A vulture holding a lapis (?) scarab and the Maat feathers :-)

Is there any chance at all that you could take brighter photos. The one of the back especially.
It's an amazing piece - congratulations!

Was going to say that I thought it might be a Lapis scarab(?), I can't tell for sure.

      Gilian, I think too :-)
