This wonderful piece was founded in a local thrift store and it was painted gold. You can see some of the remnants of the paint that I was unable to get off. It feels like porcelain. The surface with the exception of the bird and flowers has a feel of glass instead of clay. It is about 8-10 inches tall. I saw an identical one in a restaurant, but the owner would not tell be anything about it. Can some help me identify origin?
