My wife purchased this lamp from a former neighbor here in New Orleans. He said it was in the house where he grew up in Shreveport, LA. We had the shade professionally redone because it was in shreds. They saved the ornate trim work on the outside edge of the shade. The lamp is over six feet tall if you include the finial. Just about all of the lamp is heavy solid brass. I completely disassembled the lamp, cleaned, polished and repainted the blue areas before re-wiring it. Parts under the base of the lights have small holes in them which I assume once held crystals. There are no marks or manufacturer's name anywhere. Would appreciate some clues as to the age or maker of this lamp. Thanks!
