Donald Simpson 1950s lilac coloured rhinestone brooch belonged to my grandmother I like the lilac colour depending on the light it can be blue very pretty

I don't know a great deal about this jewellery Simpson began a company in the 40s Simpson Originals making quality costume jewellery including gold and silver plated pieces also later he worked for Jewel Crest and in the 70s he created "gay charm "costume jewellery my grandmother also had some gay charm jewellery-I believe my grandmother hosted a couple of jewellery parties similar to avon and she received the jewellery as a gift for hosting the partys I will post the gay charm shortly if you like
He designed beautiful jewels. I love the colours here.
