Hi CW Gang.....FORT's washboard post got me to think I should post mine, so here it is. IT is used as Decor in my home. I have it hanging on the wall in my laundry room....LOL. Thank GOD for electrical washer....LOL.
Mine is a Family piece, was my Granny's. You can also see the mark on it which says:

WINNIPEG ST. THOMAS MONTREAL
At least that is what it looks like it says. Great old item -- and still a GREAT piece to use in the Home Decor !!

These always seemed like they'd do more damage to the clothes than cleaning them...lol :)
They look much nicer when they aren't kept outside for 7-8 years like mine was. It's a great piece for home décor indeed.
I don't know how to use one either and am happy with my electric washer.
I love this Rosie! As with Forts, which I saw earlier, it brings back memories of my Grandmom's. I can almost hear the metallic sound it would make when I'd run my hand up and down it!
