The photo quality is less that artistic and more to the technical nature of the pieces.
Ian, this is the colour, the mottle orange I ws referring to. The first two shots are the Wedgwood Daisy Makeig Jones lustre bowl. My dates are 1915-1916. There is a gorgeous little pattern in the middle of the bowl, fairies.And a gold pattern around the outside rim which has a Grecian pattern.
The next two shots are of the copy type that Carltonware and Crown Devon produced. A little hard to see detail. I might feature these another time. But just popped them in.
Anyhow enjoy the technical argument of colour being able to date items.

Is it a fairyland lustre bowl ?? Those are my favs. They go for dynamite prices. Wonder if there are any posts on that on CW?
the one on the left which is the same as the 2nd one, yes is Fairyland...Yes they are expensive although like everything theyve come down in price due to market conditions.
