Hi CW Gang:
Finally get around to post this. Little table I bought for $ 2 about 8 years ago at a garage Sale. Guess it is kinda an End Table of sorts, as not like a dining table. I do not think real old -- but has some age to it. Maybe the 1960's or so. Scrolled edges. Both sides fold down as there ie a wood peg to move on the underside. The top of the table also will flip down to store away. Have no idea of the wood either. Any ideas or info on it is Welcome. I use it daily in my home and love it....and for 2 dollars, who cares!! LOL

Lots of bargains out there in 2nd hand furniture! I agree probably 1960s at the earliest (cross tip screws came out in the late 20s).

I bought a very similar table years and years ago in walnut, but the top was all one piece, not a drop leaf. Still have it as it was at my fathers till he passed on.

Funny part of this - is that I found this at a Garage slae just down the street. They had just put it out with a price tag of $ 2 and I said I would take it. Then the lady said maybe they should be asking more for it but I pulled my $$$ out and said you had $ 2 on it, and paid it to her Husband........who was the one that marked the price like that. lol...End of Story.
