(813 items)
An 1853 American 3-cent piece (1851 - 1873 for this style, which had two versions going at one time later on before completely changing over to the nickel version), made of silver, and smaller than a modern US dime.
I was told that these were minted for use of purchasing stamps, but I have not researched it.
Fairly worn but still interesting and priced decently.
It looks to me that this year will be a year of coins.
Interesting!
They are. Sadly it's fairly worn, but one day I will get a better piece.
Wow that's cool!
Thanks. :)
NICE ONE!!!
Thank you, Sean.
your very welcome Spiritbear!!
Nice little 3 cent silver. Makes you know why in those days and the early 1900's men carried pocket purses. You have a great variety of items.
I actually use one, albeit it stays only in my car. Thank you, Padit.
