This painting was brought to califoria from Greece over 100 years ago by my great grand parents... Over the years I can recall stories about this piece of art. It was said that it had to be snuck out of Greece and it had to be hidden for a long time because it could not be known where it was... the weird thing is, it is in great condition but the artist signature has been removed... you can tell someone carefully removed the artist signature. ..
I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction to find out info.. thank you
