Anyone know what this is/was made for? Funnel on bottom is more like a sleeve, smooth-not threaded, with a cork hole in center and bottom inside of crock. Has a lid that is not vented.

I was wrong there is some threads/grooves in the sleeve portion. Crock is 10 gallons. Overall length ~20 inches, diameter of top opening is ~16 inches outside to outside, opening of bottom funnel/sleeve is ~5 inches outside to outside. I'm going to try to figure out how to up load more pics.
