I was given this CD 102 Canadian insulator today when I bought a 2-piece Brookfield transposition (for those who don't know what the heck that is, it's 2 insulators put together with a wooden peg, basically) from a dealer.
This is either Diamond Flint Glass Co. or the later Dominion Glass Co. Dominion seems to add 2 diamonds to their insulators, but mine has only 1-- typical of the earlier Diamond Flint Glass Co. (Interestingly, for those who do not know, "flint" in glass means clear-- yes, this one is just so clear. LOL.)
But, a very nice piece-- one of the more desirable colours, albeit it is not rare.

Sounds like you had a fun day! Very nice addition. If you didn't hold it against the light, i woud think it's black glass...i mean, clear black glass LOL
Hah hah. Yeah. I thought it'd be very dark olive (black glass.) But it wasn't, which makes me happier as it's my only insulator in this shade.
I was one of the first non-dealers in the door, as I went to where I usually volunteer-- before anyone else was there, let alone up-- then left directly for the show to help out before it started. This also got me in for free. LOL.
I was there till nearly its close.
I have never seen one that color.
They came in all sorts of colours and shades.
