Really enjoy this site. Its refreshing to know there are good people whom genuinely like passing info along for the sake of spreading knowledge. Thank you to the ones whom posted much needed info on a few of my recent post of my items. My next item will be a bit tougher..maybe. :)
This graduated turquoise necklace weighs 198 grams, each stone is individually knotted, has a .925 clasp, and a .925 connection holding the pendant. No other markings.
Unable to determine who the maker is or even could be.
Perhaps a guess as to the era?
Native American?
I've found( marginally at best ) similar necklaces. Just too many variances to compare this necklace with the others.
Any information would be much appreciated. :) Thank for checking this post out.
Hi, your necklace is beautiful!
But, sorry for beeing deceptive, from the pattern and aspect in the pendant stone, I strongly suspect it is not turquoise but dyed howlite/magnesite.
Howlite can be given too the likeness of turquoise matrix! See there and read the description of the item:

ohh my.. thanks for the heads up ill check the link out. much appreciated :)
Gorgeous !
I agree, turquoise in color, but probably not turquoise. Nor is it Native American. The style, with the drop pendant, and the .924 markings are commonly found on contemporary "Indian Style" jewelry made in China.
