The bag measures almost 10" across x about 7.5" high x almost 2" across the side. The strap has 2 brass knobs to lengthen/shorten. The "H" is 2" across x 1.5. high. "H" is also found on the side straps.
Watched a U Tube video of an vintage couture expert & she said Hermes did not start marking their bags till sometime in the 1970's. Know someone who said her Mom had a Hermes bag and it was not marked anywhere.
The bag does stand on its own. Read that their bags always stand on their own.
Brown leather feels soft and is quality.
Do you think it is a real Hermes bag.

the you tube video is wrong and missed informed.
and Hermes bags have serial numbers and signed on al metal hardware and inside as well.
Yes I do know my goods !!! some of those ties were very popular in the 50's among the very wealth people that could afford Hermes back in the day. and also the leather and stitching is wrong on this bag as well.
