Old AA whiskey Bottles with the 1954 tax sticker from Utah.
I'm not sure if these are worth anything, but thought they were kind of cool considering it's......Utah. I've had them for about 10 years.
IF anyone has any info regarding these bottles I would appreciate it.
Thanks
They're interesting, for that style top with glass stopper isn't often seen after the 1920s.
I was well away from home, walking in the woods off the railroad in an industrial section when I spotted a bottle on the ground.
It was cold, soon to snow, and I piked it up, then noticed glass just under the surface.
And there, only an inch down, were 4 bottles with partial Michigan Tax stickers on each and one partial label.
This was in the woods with damp duff, but each had the full Seal of the State of Michigan sticker portion clearly showing-- and they are 1940s, as the date-codes on the bottom told me. They now reside in the garage, for I was too amazed to leave them.
I'm not a bottle collector, But for .75 cents a bottle I thought they were cool enough to keep???? They look nice on a shelf on my my wine rack...
I collect antique bottles. In fact, I'm working on repairing a antique milk bottle cap as work I've done on a bottle sets.
I'm just wondering why they had no bright, big label. Guess they were too good for it. LOL.
