I came across this last week I havent had much experience with buckles so not sure if this is a shoe or belt buckle? victorian or edwardian? any identification and dating would be a great help

I love this piece because I think it is from the victorian era which really fascinates me I wonder who might have worn this?

Oh to go back in time for just a day!

This is really nice! Looks more like a lapel clasp rather than a shoe buckle. Seems it would be awkward having this on the top of one's shoe. What are the dimensions?
