Has anyone seen one of these or know anything about it?
I'm in San Jose CA, my grandparents lived in Oakland CA.
They brought this as a gift in the mid to late 60's.
As you can see - its a 2 seater - each person pulls & pushes with both arms and legs to make it spin in a circle.
I have looked all over - no names, numbers or markings on it.
Thanks
Lucy & Ricky bought Little Ricky one... Member Lucy riding it in the living room?
Those things were dangerous as hell! Whirligig?
Had the very same one when I was a kid around 68-69?
Hi Celiene,
Thanks for the quick replies.
Not sure how dangerous they were but you could get really dizzy.
Do you know which episode of the show? It would be interesting to view it.
Any idea how to find out more about this?
Thanks

Amazon still sells them - a Twirl-Go-Round. They also have 4-seaters!

and I thought kids of today had the cool toys -
that "Propeller Drives Homemade Flying Merry-Go-Round" is amazing. Also considering that was from 1939 - the end of the Depression and begging of WW2 in Europe.
