Czech/Bohemian/Kralik cased glass step vases were produced during the Art Deco period, in opaque and clear glass. they were usually combined with the technique of spatter, but thin and thick brushstroke techniques were also used. These shapes have both a machine age and Aztec
sensibility. While reds and oranges were most common in the 7" size shown, I have one in translucent lavender and have come across one in green. The taller vase is 9" in height. This style was also produced with the topmost section in a rounded cup shape. This glass was also manufactured
into lamp shades and light fixtures.
Charles it looks like you have at least 5 of these vases. Can I ask if they all have the 'semi-circular' mark? Thanks for sharing these beauties.
No. Many companies produced glass during that time. And many have no manufacturer's marking at all, but are identified by style and techniques.
