Hi guys. I need some help getting some real concrete information on this pedal car. I was the last to one ride in it about 25 years ago and I would love to restore it for my son to play with this spring. My father believes it is an American National Packard somewhere around mid 1930's. Thanks for any help in advance.

      Welcome to CW.
I do not think this is a Packard, they had a distinct hood line and grill. It does appear to be an American National but it would be from late 1920's, maybe 1930-31. Almost all of these cars had solid rims by 1930.
My guess would be maybe a 28-29 Franklin or Paige. There are not a lot of photos out there of them so good luck with that.

What I do know is unless this is going to be an inside rider, you may want to rethink your plans. This car professionally restored would be in the few thousand dollar range.
Myself, I would probably clean it up and put tires on it and replace few missing parts like the windshield and light.
Due to the rarity of this car and it having that good of original finish is a sure winner. Add that you are the one that put some of those nicks on it, Keep it original.
Buy your son a new shiny $150.00 car he will be happy.

I think the wire wheels are a later addition.

      blunderbuss2, You are too kind.

Jack, You may be correct on the wheels. Looking closer these appear to be a tube type and the center hub is rather large.

Busy time right now so I don't have time to research. It may be helpful if the poster could show a good photo of the emblem on the grill.

I just came across the photos of your car today. (a year later albeit) Do you have any updated status on what you chose to do with the car and its current state? Would love to know and see new photos. I believe that your car must have cleaned up great.

I would like to add to the comments. This is not an American National car from the 20's. The dash and/or steering wheel might give you some more information. Do either of them say Gendron or American National? I would venture to say that AZTom was on target with 30 or 31 as the year.
