Circa 1900-02 and standing 12" tall, this one definitely commands some attention. The ornate and finely chased mount that holds the glass is mated perfectly in design. The three handles of the mount correspond to the three large peaks in the glass. The finely ribbed glass is covered in a Papillon type decor that while similar in appearance is much different in application of the multi-colored oil spotting. It has an almost end-of-day appearance.
Love this one!!
