When we first saw this paint over construction sign up in Bear Lake Idaho, we thought it might be an Amoco, but really had no idea what it was. We contacted the owner who didn't want to sell it until he retired. We waited patiently until he finally agreed to sell it. Obviously we had no idea what was under the many coats of automotive paint and primer. Fortunately it was a pretty nice American sign so we "Lucked out". Scary during the waiting time to see what we had purchased! It was no fun stripping this one with the high quality paint/primer on it! We finally stood it on Monday along with the Conoco and Pure Signs beside it.

Thx for the love it
Well done.
The photo of that row of signs and the snow topped mountains behind is wonderful.
However I am glad to be here and not have to feel any wind that comes off those heights!
Racer4four,
Thx for the love it and comment. Not much wind in this valley. Just a lot of beauty. Especially the row of signs!
