Pink Japanese cherry blossom hand painted wood and cloth hand held fan

I got this fan from an antique shop not that long ago but I don't know much about it and need as help as I can get! I know its hand painted but I'm not sure how old it is or where it came from. I was thinking possibly China or Japan because of the Japanese cherry blossoms. If you have any idea of where this fan could of come from please let me know! I would love to know more about it.
