    This is a Waterman #12 "eyedropper" in mottled red hard rubber (yes, that's rubber) It has a 14k nib which writes with a lovely flex, giving the written word that extra depth that makes cursive such an art. The term "eyedropper" refers to the system used to fill the ink reservoir in the pen body. The patent date imprinted on the pen is 1884.

      I found a watterman (Ideal ) ideal has a circle around it fountain-penn . Pat may 23, 1899. it is in perfect shape. Does it have any value?
