    This item has very sharp needles and it has a diameter of 3/4 inches.
    It has a ring on each end. The barrel is plastic and rotates.

      Glad to hear I'm not the only one who has to get help to learn these "simple" things. I find kids to help me. When they get to be 17, they are too old & time to look for a 10 yr. old teacher !

      TallCakes,, thanks the only fishing were doing here is Ice fishing on bays of Lake Superior, and we don't see this kind of gear. Pete
