This is an early cabinet card image of the famous inventor Thomas Edison.
The image shows Edison in his early years with a thinner face than usually seen. The image dates from the very late 1870s-- soon after his invention of the phonograph/ electric bulb.
Back of the card bears a pencil ID with poor spelling "Eddison".
Subject is photographed by Anderson of Broadway, NY.
