My parents bought, at auction, a set of six for our dining room in the early 1970's. I'm researching where they were made and which courtroom they may have come from. I love sturdy furniture and these definitely are... I am grateful to my parents for relinquishing them into my custody. I will treasure them and hope my kids keep passing them down.

Your best bet is a library. But a lot of Government furniture is the same. And that furniture is not going to get you any replies from anywhere, as it is commom oak furniture that was used everywhere in Govt. and other institutions. Most Gov't furniture has no place in particular it comes from. This is a common shape, and when I worked for the government I worked for separate branches and there was the same 50's furniture in all of them, Court or no court.

Folks on here may be able to help with some additional detailed photographs.

Photos that show the joints, labels, bottom, etc... would be most helpful.

I'd be happy to take another look once you update the images!
