I bought this chair on a swap site for a project and was I surprised when I turned it over and saw the chains that hold up the bottom. They can be tightened and go thru the leg and have a wood cap covering the ends. The chair is very heavy and obviously a hard wood. I would love to find out how old it is or where it came from. Anyone have any ideas or seen this before?
