I bought and restored my 1st MODEL T GO KART about 5 years ago. Since then I have restored a few more. As time went on, I was always drawn to Pedal Cars. But did not no how to go about getting 1.
Who made them? How old are they?? How many were made??? Etc..
So I took out an add in my local paper with the words
WANTED PEDAL CARS. About a week later my first call....
It was a Women who said she had 1, and it was hers as a little girl in
the 1940s. I went over and she was an amazing, classy and friendly
Lady. So after an hour or so of listening to her stories about her and this Pedal car I was sold. So now , I have my 1st Pedal car and I have the bug.
I have 2 and might be getting 3 more very shortly. ( I think I may be addicted). Would love to hear from other PEDAL CAR collectors in my area or around the world who also collect. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to CW.
That is an awesome car and would be a great addition to any collection.
You don't see these in original condition as nice as this one. I sure hope you don't intend to restore this one.
Awesome car and story! Welcome to CW:)
just got this same car from a friend only in much rougher condition. i love the patina on yours but ours was just rust. I made it a project with my two daughters and we restored it and its on youtube under "KidsGarage"

now after doing this research and seeing how many cool pedal cars there are im thinking about collecting more of them. My first pedal car as a kid is on one of my posts-70's car- i just found one just like it that a buddy has and im picking it up this weekend. Cant wait to redo that one as well.
