This was sitting in the back garden of a retired dock worker.
Old with cast steel wheels it would have carried a lot of sacks and stuff unloaded from ships over the years.
Of course all the dock area where Brett's Wharf was located on the Brisbane river is now very expensive apartment blocks.
I mourn the loss of these waterfront industrial areas in our cities.
This is such a great relic of one!
