I think of this large vase as my' Seaweed Vase' for obvious reasons. It is made of four layers of glass.....clear, striped red, 'seaweed' streaks and a clear outer layer. Lots of small bubbles visible on the outside. Dished base...no pontil. Image four best showed the stripes but distorted the colours.
The nearest I've seen to this vase was one posted by Jagsrock95 two years ago. His vase was the same shape but 10 inches high with 'streaks/swirls' on a 'striped yellow' base. His vase was unattributed as I think this will be. That said, if anyone does have any suggestion as to maker I'd be interested.
Height 30 cm./12 inches Diameter 10 cm./4 inches
This is amazing how extraordinary amount of colours look always good in glass.Every combination is interesting and never disgusting.

Hi Ivonne, when I read my description it did sound 'too much'. But looking at it it's ok. Perhaps it's because we like glass :)

beautiful....it's killing me but someone was either selling or had a similar vase...its a stunner...are you planning on keeping it?
