Plaza Hotel New York China

I found this 11" plate today it was made by Schonwald Germany and says 9297 on the back. The logo looks like the Plaza Hotel logo from before the Donald destroyed it but I don't recognize the china otherwise. It is a sturdy and heavy dish that did not get much wear.
It makes me remember the Plaza from the days gone by when it was such a special place.
