I just purchased this. I am looking for any information on it at all. It has no markings on the army knife as to a brand. It has 11 tools and a wooden handle. The box itself is older and says "Deluxe Army Knife" made in china. The top of the box says "Superior Multi purpose knife". It looks like a Swiss Army Knife clone. It's decent quality but it's not the quality of my real Swiss Army Knife. It could be from the 1970s and back. Not looking to sell it or get it appraised, just looking for some information, so information would be great. Thanks.

Detailed photos of the blade tang would be helpful in trying to I.D. this knife. I do see in the second photo that some lettering is etched on the tang, but am unable to make out what it says. I suspect, though, it says "Stainless", no??? If that's the case, then without any other marks on the knife, I'd wager that it's a Chinese-made knock-off of the "Swiss Army Knife", as the box in which it came in points to (I think the box is original to the knife and not "older" as you suspect. The box, being essentially made of cardboard paper, would naturally become worn and tattered-looking faster than the knife protected inside the box and thus appear older than the knife). [;>)
