Some rectangular, some oval, all on silk with various stitches.
Though bought in France, they are English from their style :-)
Very difficult to capture because of the glass reflects, plus as difficult to hang I left them on the wall, sorry!
The biggest is the lady with hat, in pic 2, approximately 45 cm high!
My favourite is the young musician, there are silver threads in details!
These are really beautiful Kyra ...I like the musician one as well :)
Stunning! They are all beautiful. The musician shows some extreme creativity!

Aura, Manikin, Nicefice, Phil, Bb2 and Petey thanks all for visiting and loving them :-D
So beautiful and accomplished. I can imagine you could look at these again and again and see something new.
those are really nice--- I worry about mine being on silk,, silk tends to separate- I should try to have it stablized
Silk fraying from age is unavoidable...
Airproof backing on the frame and avoiding direct sunlight and humidity are minimum to do.
Taking it off the frame has to be left only to antique textile experts!!!
Thank you for your visit and compliment, Jgsteager. Yours is a real treasure!
Thank you for sharing these treasures with us, kyratango, incredible handwork!
Ooh, thank you Katherine :-)

I too find amazing the patience and skills of the ladies who made these, and continue to admire the different areas through the enlargement :-)
Many thanks for visiting and loving, Vetraio, Torakitty, Jean and Trey!
