Can someone help me with what these items are and how old they are, the only markings on the tripod are "Century".

The parts appear to be from a studio; most of which probably belonged to the camera that sat atop the stand. The stand made by the Century Camera Company; and the particular version you have was included as part of the Century Studio Outfit No.4, or sold separately for $12 as the Century Camera Stand No.4. The stand was made for a while and could date from 1905 into the 1910s (and possibly later). The items in the background are assorted plate holders (or later versions for cut film) for the studio camera. Immediately in front of the stand a roller/squeegee for prints. The round bakelite item looks like a film developing tank.
