    help, any of you knowledgeable lot know what this was used for????
    I think its something like you'd lift a drain cover with, my husband thinks you turn something with it. approx. 8 inch long cast metal. he does love his old tools, but we do find something we can't fathom out, and this is 1 of them.

      I give this to the Boys to figure out .......lol

      Its a spanner wrench. The two folded fingers fit into corresponding slots in some specific item allowing it to be turned/unscrewed. Made for a specific piece of machinery, plug, etc.; you may never know exactly what it was for.
