I think this is a very pretty art and craft pin brooch. I love the triangle shape and the nice silver work and the cornelian stone( I think it's a Cornelian stone). The work looks familiar but haven't been able to pin point the maker, I thought it had a look and of Amy Sandheim, now I'm not so sure. Any help would be most appreciated.
Many thanks for looking
This is very pretty, indeed. The carnelian sets off the silver design well.
Hi Efesgirl, thank you for your comment, I'm leaning to the brooch being a kilt pin.
I've looked everywhere for a similar pin to this, I'm having no luck :-(
Very lovely!
Hi BelleEpoque thank you for your comment, I'm still trying to find some similar pins, but no success at the moment.
Many thanks

Hi Jean, I have a very similar dress clip. Probably the same maker but I don't know who it is.
Hi Jewels1900, I've just spotted your comment, I'm still hunting but with no success, it's definitely Art and Craft, the floral and leave design look very familiar. Oh well I'll keep on hunting. It's nice to hear from you. I'm getting lots of goodies coming from the UK, maybe some of the pieces will be of interest to you, of course I'm always interested in your comments. Take care, and hopefully I'll hear from you soon.
Hi Jean. I've recently bought some Aussie arts & crafts including a great pair of earrings and 2 x gum leaf rings. None Wager but still interesting. I'll post them some time in the next few weeks & also dig out my similar clip.
Looking forward to seeing your new treasures.
Hi, Your beautiful pin has some similarities to Instone's work.

Just a thought.
Hi Gillian, thanks for Your link and comment, it's much appreciated. I have seen this brooch with several different coloured stones, I don't think this is a Bernard Instone brooch.
Hi Jean. I uploaded a photo of my dress clip by the same maker + my Dorrie Nossitor dress clip which is very similar to yours.
Yes very similar indeed, would you hazard a guess to the maker?
