Palmer Method Writing Lessons for Primary Grades

I found this little pamphlet and another in my grandfather's attic. My grandmother was a teacher in Scotland in the early 1900's but she never taught here in the States. It is dated 1918 and published in a number of American cities.
I can find nothing about it and wonder if anyone can recognize it and provide any information.
