Please don't list your phone number here...this is a public site. This plate is most likely a souvenir plate sold in Lourdes, France. Limoges is the factory. I still see items produced by Limoges with this blue and gold pattern.

Because this is not part of a dinner service, I doubt that you can get a replacement anywhere unless someone happens to be selling another like this online.

Thank you for the information on the likely source THAT is most appreciated..... & on the 'heads up' about giving the ph# ... I know that is good advice, but I really would like to get a replacement... maybe I am not so worried about the 'public' part. When this plate was dropped & broken I was just sick about it.

Short of taking a trip to Lourdes, France or finding one for sale on the internet, I don't think it would be possible to replace it. The design does not give away it's age. The lettering style might be the only clue. Can you post a photo of the lettering? I searched Google Images for Mater Dolorosa and Madonna and found nothing even close.

Note: the mark posted does NOT include the Star, other wise is almost exactly the same, in lettering and shape

I tried several Google Image searches and didn't find a mark corresponding to the description.
