This is the latest addition to the art gallery I'm starting to assemble in the collection room.
I believe it's a litho, but not really sure.
Here's some interesting info on the artist,
Ruth Tye McKenzie A.O.C.A.
Thunder Bay artist Ruth Tye McKenzie has had a long and interesting art career. Born in Edmonton Alberta, she was always interested in making art and attended the Ontario College Of Art in Toronto (4 year course in advertising art) …3 of those years on scholarship and graduated in ‘52 receiving the Silver Medal for Advertising Art.
Marriage and three children later, she embarked on developing her painting and printmaking skills through courses at the Dundas School of Art. After moving to Thunder Bay, while still creating art, she became a charter member of Artists North of Superior,(traveling shows) joined the Lakehead Visual Art Club, supported Definitely Superior Art Gallery as an exhibiting member, supported The Thunder Bay Art Gallery, and is a member of C.A.R.O. ( serving as a rep. for Northwestern Ontario for several years ) while continuing to exhibit all over the region.
For 15 years she oversaw a drawing group formed at Lakehead University for students and other artists to get practice in drawing nudes. She also exhibited in several out of town venues through the years. She started The Painted Turtle Art Shop in 1984…specializing in selling fine art supplies. In 2003 she was fortunate to be offered a retrospective at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery. Since retiring and selling the shop she continues to paint, exhibit and enjoy life to the full.
Not really sure of the medium, and what the Artist Proof indicates, I believe it to be 1/1, but not 100%.
Maybe someone knows?
Thanks
Cheers

Great find and write up, pickrknows , I Love those AP, has the number of 5, 10, 25, way more value than the one with 1000 or even more edition number.
The artist give them away, to friends and relatives.

Alan
