It pays to persist with one's research!
This is one of the pieces that was in my "bonanza" of silver and gold jewelry items of last week. I was annoyed that I couldn't trace the hallmark. Today, I noticed the "KL" inscribed on the side of the pendant. That lead me to Karl Laine. Twenty cents well spent. :-D

Born in 1945.
"Karl Laine is a famous Finnish Goldsmith and Designer. He is mostly known for his work with Jewelry. Karl Laine has designed Pewter Objects for Kultakeskus Oy / Linna Tinaa."
Thanks for looking, everyone.

Nice! I envy your detective skills, you are great at this!
MFT - thanks! I've discovered that once I understand what it is I'm searching for, it makes it easier. I do Google Images searches every day and use different combinations of words to try to track down what it is I am wanting to find. In this case, it was just dumb luck that I happened to notice the letters on the edge.
Hi Bonnie, I have a couple of pieces by Jorma Laine, I'm going to check if they were related. Lovely piece by the way.

Interesting article, I don't think they were related
Peasejean55 - it was an interesting article. It's possible that they were distant relatives.
I really really like this pendant. It's very different.
Another great buy and research Bonnie.
Thanks, racer! I am going to two BIG flea markets on Saturday, so I am hoping to find more bargains.
You are truly amazing. Jewelry is so hard to see let alone identify. Thanks for sharing all of your lovely hard earned pieces and information. :)
THANKS, all, for the love and comments.
