I purchase these lead crystal sugar bowl and creamer from an antique store and was wondering who is the maker I have comed through several books and the closes I got is American Cut class...not sure who made it though I know they are antiques. They are so beautiful..the cuts are sharp and no scratches.

They are American Brilliant Cut Glass. The main motif are Hobstars. I cant see much of the pattern due to the lighting. Look for a signature in the center of each piece. Get the piece so light is reflecting off the surface you are looking at and just move it around. Also check on any clear areas on the outside of the glass, use the same process as above. These acid stamp signatures can be very hard to find. Your glass may not even be signed but it is fun to search glass for a signature. There is a gal who comes on this site who is very knowledgeable on patterns of this type glass. Maybe she will show up and be able to help you with the pattern.
