UPDATE: Again, thanks and cudos to TallCakes for rescuing me. This is a Hocking G303 Vase, circa1920-30's.

Orig.Post: Ok CW friends -- I know zero about glowing glass. It is my understanding if it's green, it's NOT vaseline. Just uranium glass. Is that correct? Trying to find glass maker of this vase - would the shape of it be considered "wheat" with ruffle? Vase is 8 1/4" tall. I seem to only be getting worse at my attempts to identify glass. Any help would be appreciated.

TallCakes!! I even joined this group (chataboutdg) so I could "search" their site, and still came up empty. What am I doing wrong???? I am so frustrated; I couldn't find this, or my green candlesticks. Thanks again, for saving me.

Nuts, thank you so much for your help; TC has solved this one for me, but I will use your insight to try to find my green candlesticks!! (In case anyone's noticed, I'm not that tech and internet savvy. Yet. I am a work in progress LOL.)

And for the loves, thanks to Nuts, Sean, and Fort; and thanks Sean for the great comment!

that site is a PITA to search; you must use logic terms with the search text as the default is 'or'. If you search 'green vase' you'll bet results for both 'green' and/or 'vase'. But if you use 'green and vase' the results are easier to review. So I first noticed a similar crimped corset shaped vase by Hocking using the search 'green and vase'. I then did another search using 'Hocking and vase' to see your vase. Unfortunately none of the good glass site are totally consistent in how they enter data; so you constantly have invent alternate search twist.

TallCakes, I think I will resign my interest in glass; as much as I love it, I become obsessed in knowing everything there is to know about it, and I drive myself crazy doing it. But I thank you for all of your help and guidance; you are a walking glass encyclopedia!

And for the loves, thanks Katherine and Martika!

Got no clue or knowledge whatsoever about glass, pottery or anything else, 'cept maybe knives, but just a genuine appreciation for nice, old things, 'specially GREEN, my favorite color. That glow-in-the-dark green is to drool over! [;>)

Thanks Nevada, GREEN is my favorite color also! This uranium glass/vaseline glass stuff is all new to me, but it just totally intrigues me!
