I bought this from someone on Craigslist, I have no details on it other than she bought it at an auction. IT is very tall, around 54inches tall. It appears to be hand made? I am not sure of the value or even the style. I have heard a few opinions, some say Italian Reniseance, maybe from Tuscony. Some say Jocobean style. I have also heard Victoria. People seem to think it comes from the 1920's or 1930's ... I was going to paint it with chalk paint but everyone tells me not to. I can't find any names or markings on it. Any ideas?
Noooooooooooo! I hope you don't paint it! I don't know the style, but the hardwoods are spectacular. Perhaps a combination of cherry and maple?
