I'm trying to hunt down a little info on this kettle/pot. It was given to my grandmother about 50 years ago and my mother has tasked me with finding out what I can about it. If anyone knows anything about this I would love to know! Maker, era, etc, etc. Please excuse the dust as I'm terrified to wash it - if it breaks when mom's washing it, she can't blame me! Thanks.

is it marked on the bottom?
