Mel, I'm really reaching here, but I was looking on ebay for the pitcher I just picked up and I remembered seeing blue pieces on there. Most here know, I'm very new to collecting but I thought I'd throw this out there anyway. It's a really nice teapot. :)

Love this! But the technique reminds me of a piece posted on here recently -- I'll have to go find it.
i think it might be fairly recent and Chinese. that brown stain on the bottom of majolica-type pieces is a give-away, i'm pretty sure. still nice piece though!
I'm trippin', after a second look not so much; I found it, it was one of Kyratango's gems; when I saw yours, it just made me think of this one.
