Good Morning Fellow Collectors. I mentioned this clock yesterday and thought I'd share...... This clock was designed with the repeal of Prohibition in the United States(Twenty first Amendment). This was produced by Lux Clock MFG. circa 1933 and known as "Happy Days". There are two variants, one plain and one with the title below the 12 o'clock marker. The graphics are "Animated" with a cam style lift on the arm of the Man on left side. The beer mug is lifted to his mouth in steps and drops when cam is at full lift.

You're welcome Kerry :)....while you were away I found this really nice Waterbury wind-up novelty clock about 3 weeks ago. I opened it and tried some clock oil. It will tick for a bit and stop even though it's tightly wound. Then I couldn't get the hands back on. Hope I didn't break or loose something. Do you think it's cost effective to have it repaired ?

Quite wonderful, not a good image to see during prohibition, must have made a lot of people frustrated !

Eye4.... I watch this clock and don't know how that guy on the left is still standing, he takes a drink 6 times a minute and doesn't seem to stammer him at all
